1718 Coffee is more than a roastery — it is a gathering point for Dubai's specialty coffee community. We host regular events at our Dubai facility and partner with venues across the UAE to bring coffee education, tastings, and experiences to as many people as possible.

Our Regular Events

Public Cupping Sessions

A cupping session is the professional way to taste and evaluate specialty coffee. We host regular public cuppings at our roastery, where you can taste 4–6 different coffees side by side, understand what separates origins and processes, and develop your palate with the guidance of our team. No experience required — just curiosity.

Barista Workshops

Our barista workshops cover the fundamentals of espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and filter brewing. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced home barista looking to refine your technique, we have a session for you. Small group sizes ensure personalised attention from our trainers.

Origin Spotlights

We regularly feature a single producing country or region — exploring its coffee history, the farmers who grow it, the processing methods used, and tasting specific lots from that origin. Past spotlights have included Ethiopia, Colombia, Yemen, and Brazil. These sessions are part education, part tasting, and entirely immersive.

Private & Corporate Events

All events are held at our Dubai roastery unless otherwise stated. Spaces are limited — early registration is recommended.
